Camp Update!!!

Physical Climate
When we arrived at 4:30 PM on Monday it was 101 degrees at the camp!!! We thought that we were leaving Houston for cooler weather only to find it just as hot! Our prayers were answered though as the temperature began to drop when the sun went down and a thunderstorm kicked up. By the time it was all said and done the rain cooled the temperature down 30 degrees, and when we left the tabernacle after the service it was a very comfortable 71 degrees! Thank you for your prayers, and praise the Lord that He answers them! It has warmed up since then, but being from Houston, we can handle the heat!

Spiritual Climate
We’ve already heard some great preaching and the Lord is definitely speaking! Every single one of our teenagers responded Monday night as Bro Charlie Clark asked them to commit to be willing to hear from God regardless of whether they were spiritually on fire, indifferent, or cold to the things of God. Tuesday morning was another power packed message on salvation, and we had seven of our very own trust Christ as their personal Savior! Both Tuesday night and Wednesday morning were no exception, as the Lord spoke clearly to all hearts. Our teens are having an incredible time, and they can’t wait to get back and tell you all about it!
