What is element 26? On the periodic table Element 26 or Fe26 is the element known as Iron.
The Bible says, in Proverbs 27:17: Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend. At Christchurch Baptist Fellowship we have named our Singles Ministry Element 26, because it is our desire to raise up faithful, dedicated single adults who will sharpen one another for the glory of God.
Single adults have many choices to make...including whether to continue attending church. A new study from LifeWay Research reveals that more than two-thirds of young adults who attend a Protestant church for at least a year in high school will stop attending church regularly for at least a year between the ages of 18 and 22. We believe at Element 26 we can reverse that trend by creating opportunities for single adults to live out their faith and deepen their personal convictions.
Through small group Bible studies, on campus Sunday school, and monthly activities, there are many ways to stay plugged into the single adult ministry at Christchurch Baptist Fellowship. We hope to see you at our next Element 26 event. Check our Events Calendar here.
