While memorizing and meditating on the Word of God is vitally important, this is only a means to an end. The end result should be an obedience to the Word of God. Joshua 1:8 makes that clear... "This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth, but thou meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written herein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success." We are to have to Word of God so lodged in our minds that every reflex in life is a biblical one. I trust these pure words of Scripture will progress you in your journey toward holiness.
