Grow in it.
Our desire is for you to grow in His Grace at Christchurch. In II Peter 3:18, the Apostle Peter challenges the church (body of believers) to do just that. “But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.” Grace is the undeserved favor of God given freely to everyone who genuinely seeks to find Him. The Prophet Isaiah writes, “Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon Him while he is near.” (Isaiah 55:6)
We believe that God has saved and called us with a purpose in life. Here at Christchurch we find that purpose through the teaching of the Word of God in various settings, such as our small group Sunday school classes, discipleship classes, and Bible studies.
We encourage all of our members who have experienced His Love to continue to grow in His Grace, regardless of where they are on their spiritual journey. We offer age appropriate classes for children, teenagers, and adults. Our teachers have a burden to practically apply the Word of God to everyday situations, and to teach others how to do so as well. During the school year, our Children’s Ministry and Youth Ministry offer special programs (AWANA and IMPACT) that challenge the young people with Bible learning, memory, comprehension, and application. Each adult class has regularly scheduled activities that encourage one another through positive fellowship. Often one of the best ways to connect with someone is by realizing that that they are experiencing some of the same struggles or blessings that you are. will make you feel connected as a part of our Christchurch family.
As many people grow in His Grace, they begin to desire to serve others through living and sharing His Church.
